My Background

Currently, I am CEO of Spire Brand Ventures, LLC and Chairman of Performance Lighting Inc. In addition, I enjoy mentoring and advising companies as well as investing in early stage businesses. 


Although entrepreneurial for most of my life, my career highlight to date is founding Digital Kitchen (DK) and running the business for 20 years. I sold the company to kyu collective in 2015 and retired as CEO in 2020.  This website is a display of some of the amazing work and achievements that defined the company and it's success during my leadership. It began with a vision to build a company at the center of Silicon Valley, Hollywood and Madison Ave. Digital Kitchen was formed with an idea to disrupt the old industry paradigms and bring more value to marketers, innovators and entrepreneurial businesses. DK started with one small office outside Seattle and a ton of ambition and entrepreneurial spirit. Our first project of global notoriety was Six Feet Under which won an Emmy Award for Main Title Design. The work product was a first of it’s kind and is credited for reinventing marketing for TV -- launching DK to the forefront of pop culture and a top spot in the industry. Since then, DK has achieved numerous prestigious awards and recognition including 7 Emmy awards and the coveted Cannes Grand Prix. 


DK expanded far beyond trans-media marketing and ultimately became a true partner to companies transitioning to the age of digital experience. I forged valuable relationships in technology, entertainment, hospitality and advertising, proudly garnering a client list that includes HBO, Amazon, Microsoft, Coke, Sony Picture, Netflix, AT&T, Beam/Suntory, NIKE, Whole Foods, Sierra Nevada, Warner Bros., Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, McDonald's and Zone.TV. Being credited by many of them as their most creative and innovative partner.
